We offer a full range of academic and career-technical courses leading to an Associate of Arts or Science degree, Associate of Applied Science degrees, continuing education, and certifications. CWI also offers Basic Skills Education to help prepare for a GED, Dual Credit for high school students, and fast-track career training for working professionals.

Accelerated Math Placement (AMP) is a program designed to allow students and potential students with targeted scores on the CWI Math Diagnostic/Placement Exam to refresh their knowledge and understanding of mathematical content with the intent of helping them elevate their mathematics course placements. At the end of the instructional period, the students will be allowed to retake the diagnostic/placement exam. AMP tutors will provide online support for students participating in the self-study portion of the program. AMP instructional curricula have been designed and prepared by full-time and adjunct Math Solutions Center (MSC) faculty. Grant funding allows for tutorial support at no cost to qualified students.
• Provide educational assistance to students on the college-prep levels of mathematics content on the CWI Math Diagnostic/Placement Exam.• Document time allocated to each student.• Comfortable working with student in-person and via e-mail/other electronic platform.
• Completion of Math 143/Equivalent with at least a “B” • Recommendation from Math Faculty (CWI Students)• Proficient in computer usage and ability to use online video communications, word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs• Good organizational and communication skills• Team player within the Math Solutions Center as well as with other departments• Communicate effectively in a diverse, multi-cultural community environment• Understand the community college philosophy of education• Certificate of completion or 30 college hours preferred • Recent tutoring experience preferred• Prior work experience in a community college environment preferred
