Key Responsibilities:
Instruction
• Deliver inclusive, student-centered instruction tailored to CWI’s diverse community.
• Continuously enhance curriculum, content delivery, and student engagement.
• Maintain a strong record of teaching excellence.
• Contribute to course development and revision efforts.
Institutional Engagement
• Build professional connections to navigate college resources and systems effectively.
• Participate in service activities that promote student and faculty success.
• Stay informed and involved in department and program initiatives.
• Support departmental planning and assessment efforts.
Professional Development
• Collaborate with supervisors to align expertise and interests with student success.
What We’re Looking For:
• A bachelor’s degree in a horticulture-related field or a minimum of three years of professional experience in horticulture, landscaping, greenhouse management, nursery operations, or a related field.
• Must hold an Idaho Occupational Specialist Certification or obtain it within three years of employment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in various teaching methodologies.
• Proficiency in instructional technology and standard software applications.
• Commitment to student advising, professional growth, and community college education.
• Experience with online course delivery and institutional service preferred.
• Post-secondary teaching experience in the field is preferred.
