Empower Adult Learners as an AE/ELL Assistant Coordinator at CWI! 

Are you passionate about supporting adult education and English language learners? The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking a dedicated AE/ELL Assistant Coordinator to help lead and support adult education and ELL Pathways programs across a ten-county region in southwest Idaho.

Supportive Leadership & Program Coordination: 

  • Assist with orientation, assessment, and intake of students 

  • Help train and onboard teachers, work-study students, and volunteers 

  • Coordinate and schedule classes across multiple sites 

  • Provide instruction to students as assigned 

Data-Driven & Impactful Work: 

  • Monitor student progress toward educational and employment goals 

  • Support teachers in data collection and reporting 

  • Audit student files and ensure data accuracy in LACES 

  • Develop and share reports aligned with National Reporting System (NRS) guidelines 

Collaborative & Mission-Aligned: 

  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions 

  • Promote CWI’s values through words and actions 

  • Contribute to continuous program improvement 

  • Perform other duties as assigned 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 2+ years of experience in coordination or administration 

  • Associate’s degree preferred 

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills 

  • Ability to inspire and support team members 

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint 

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset 

  • Ability to build strong relationships across departments 

 

Additional Instructions For Applicants: 

Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
