Are you passionate about helping adults achieve their educational goals? The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking a dedicated Adult Education (AE) Instructor to deliver high-impact instruction in foundational subjects that empower learners to succeed in college, careers, and life.

Empowering Instruction with Purpose: 

  • Teach adult learners in classroom, online, or hybrid settings 

  • Deliver instruction in math, reading, writing, social studies, science, and digital literacy 

  • Provide one-on-one coaching and group instruction at pre-college levels 

  • Administer assessments and track student progress 

Organized & Student-Focused: 

  • Maintain accurate student attendance and educational records 

  • Organize and update student files and documentation 

  • Communicate effectively with students and team members 

  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions 

Collaborative & Mission-Aligned: 

  • Contribute to team efforts and program goals 

  • Promote CWI’s values through words and actions 

  • Support continuous improvement in adult education delivery 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • Certification or degree in Education preferred 

  • Reliable transportation 

  • Strong communication and organizational skills 

  • Commitment to student success and lifelong learning 

 

Additional Instructions For Applicants: 

Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
