Are you passionate about helping students become confident communicators? The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking Adjunct Faculty members to teach Introduction to Communication (COMM 101) in face-to-face, hybrid, or online formats—empowering learners with essential skills for success in college, careers, and life.

Engaging Instruction with Purpose:

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s degree in Communication
  • Ability to apply varied teaching methodologies (lectures, group activities, distance learning, technology integration)
  • Commitment to professional growth and development
  • Proficiency with technology tools, including Blackboard and Microsoft Office
  • Experience teaching at a community college or with adult learners preferred
  • Successful experience using instructional technology preferred

 

Additional Instructions For Applicants: 

Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
