Drive Employer Engagement and Program Growth as an Outreach & Engagement Coordinator at CWI! 

Join CWI's Professional & Custom Training (PACT) team and play a pivotal role in growing employer engagement, expanding program reach, and advancing workforce development opportunities. The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking an Outreach & Engagement Coordinator to support the PACT team through strategic marketing, outreach, program promotion, and event coordination. 

In this role, you'll help increase program awareness, strengthen employer and community partnerships, and enhance the overall participant experience through innovative engagement strategies and effective program promotion.

This is a hybrid, grant-funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon ongoing grant funding.

Marketing & Outreach Strategy: 

  • Develop and implement marketing and outreach plans that promote workforce training programs and services 

  • Coordinate digital and traditional marketing efforts, including social media campaigns, email communications, and promotional materials 

  • Support recruitment and engagement initiatives designed to increase program participation and awareness 

  • Assist in developing content, messaging, and marketing materials aligned with CWI branding and engagement goals 

Community & Employer Engagement: 

  • Build and maintain relationships with students, employers, community partners, and other stakeholders 

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to align outreach efforts with workforce and program objectives 

  • Support engagement activities that strengthen employer partnerships and community connections 

  • Represent Workforce Development programs at outreach events and community initiatives 

Event Planning & Program Promotion: 

  • Coordinate and support workshops, promotional events, career-related activities, and community outreach initiatives 

  • Manage event logistics, including scheduling, vendor coordination, communications, and on-site support 

  • Ensure events are organized, engaging, and aligned with program goals 

  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance participant experiences and program visibility 

Data Management & Performance Analysis: 

  • Maintain program data, contact lists, and CRM records to support outreach activities and reporting requirements 

  • Track and analyze marketing and outreach performance metrics 

  • Prepare reports and provide recommendations to help improve engagement, recruitment, and program outcomes 

  • Identify opportunities to enhance outreach effectiveness, streamline processes, and improve customer experiences 

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: 

  • Work collaboratively with Workforce Development staff and campus partners to support strategic growth initiatives 

  • Participate in planning discussions and provide suggestions based on outreach results and stakeholder feedback 

  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, service, and continuous improvement 

  • Perform other duties as assigned 

What We're Looking For: 

  • Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in marketing, outreach, program coordination, event planning, or a related field 

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously 

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills 

  • Experience coordinating events and managing logistics 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications 

  • Familiarity with marketing platforms, social media tools, and CRM systems 

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, employers, and community partners 

 

Additional Instructions For Applicants: 

Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
