Drive Workforce Innovation as an Employer Partnership Manager at CWI! 

Are you passionate about building strategic partnerships and driving workforce development? The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking an Employer Partnership Manager to expand the reach of our Employer Education Team by cultivating relationships with local businesses and industries leading to new custom training engagements. This grant-funded position offers an exciting opportunity to design impactful training programs, support local workforce needs, and make a lasting impact on community education.

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic Partnership Development 

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with local businesses, industries, and community organizations to support custom training initiatives 

  • Serve as a key liaison between CWI and industry partners, ensuring programs align with workforce needs 

Custom Training Program Development 

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement training programs tailored to local labor market demands 

  • Coordinate with training providers and educators to build effective training programs 

Market & Program Analysis 

  • Initiate and interpret market research in partnership with internal teams to identify emerging trends and opportunities in employer education 

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of custom training programs using data-driven approaches 

Outreach & Promotion 

  • Develop and execute strategic outreach initiatives to promote custom training programs 

  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities and program outcomes for the Executive Director of Employer Education 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

Experience & Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. 

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, workforce development, or a related field 

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills 

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders 

  • CRM Expertise: Implementation, Customization, and Optimization a plus but not needed 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
