CWI is looking for a talented IT Applications Administrator to support and enhance our enterprise applications that drive learning, workforce development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning Management System (LMS) and Application Administration

  • Manage the full lifecycle of courses and organizations within the LMS, including creation, archiving, deletion, and importing.
  • Ensure applications are current by coordinating updates, communicating changes to users, and preparing related training and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Center for Teaching and Learning to support instructional technology needs.

Technical Support and Issue Resolution

  • Provide advanced technical support for CWI applications, including application configuration, security, and issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalate tickets when appropriate, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support and respond to tickets escalated from the Helpdesk.

System Integration and Testing

  • Assist with troubleshooting system integrations alongside IT operations architects and system administrators.
  • Design, develop, and coordinate test plans for new applications or system updates using structured planning procedures.

Vendor Coordination and Internal Collaboration

  • Manage vendor communications, including software updates, release rollouts, and service issues.
  • Support ERP administrator with enterprise application functions that intersect with ERP data and services.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for use by the internal IT team.

What We're Looking For? 

  • Associate’s degree in computer information systems or equivalent experience preferred
  • At least three years of working experience in an application support role. Experience in Higher Education is preferred
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Possess organizational skills necessary to work professionally as a member of a collaborative team, as well as the ability to think critically, work independently, and solve problems
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding information processed, stored, or accessed by the various enterprise systems
  • Experience working in an Agile environment preferred

Additional Instructions for Applicants:

*Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
