The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking a full-time Marketing Instructor to lead curriculum development, engage with local employers, and deliver high‑quality, student‑centered instruction across a variety of Marketing courses.

Engaging Instruction with Purpose:
- Teach courses such as Intro to Marketing, Principles of Promotion, Social Media Marketing, Principles of Management, Advanced Digital Marketing, and Marketing Capstone
- Develop and maintain inclusive, student-centered pedagogy
- Continuously improve curriculum, assessments, and instructional delivery
- Establish and maintain a strong record of teaching excellence
- Collaborate with the Department Chair on curriculum development and updates
Industry & Community Engagement:
- Foster strong relationships with employers and community partners
- Oversee and engage with the Marketing Technical Advisory Committee
- Support cross-department collaborations with Media Arts and Communication
Institutional Engagement & Growth:
- Build professional relationships across campus to understand CWI’s resources and systems
- Engage in committees, service activities, and departmental initiatives
- Participate in planning and assessment at the program and department level
Professional Development:
- Work with supervisors to align expertise and interests with student success
- Commit to ongoing personal growth and instructional excellence
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution
- Post-secondary teaching experience in the field; three years preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt instruction across lectures, group work, individual learning, online delivery, and technology-enhanced teaching
- Proficiency with standard software (email, spreadsheets, word processing, presentations)
- Ability to advise students and support academic pathways
- Commitment to teaching at a community college or with adult learners preferred
- Experience with instructional technology and online teaching preferred
Additional Instructions For Applicants:
Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
